The three-level Gurbachan Singh Mall, which opened for business in 2019, boosts the northern economy with increased number of employment opportunities and expansion of businesses. The $7 million investment is in the honour of Mr Charan Jeath Singh’s parents. The mall has been built on the basis of the modern qualities that reflect the mall as a clean and highly designed place. While bringing new services to Vanua Levu, the mall also reminisces the Girmit era and the old town with the inclusion on both sides of the wall, in the restaurant area, photos of Labasa.
